Revolving Door & the Strangest Times

Revolving Door

you slit your own throat
you won't be around for long
they're now a dying breed
'cause there will always be a market for greed

and there will always be someone to replace you
though, they may not have the courage to face you

now, it's too late to settle the scores
you're going through the way you came before
back through the revolving door

you're sick of your skin
though, you act like you're not in it
the rot has set in
and it could be as little as an hour or two
before it completely devours you

and the ones who should stand up
are afraid to
you were stuck while you held the floor

you're going through the way you came before
back through the revolving door

i understand the concessions you made
and, what it's like to get backed into a corner
and, it simplifies
but, i don't take your side

hey, you
you act like no one could tame you
but, when it counted
you never came through
now, with one look at what they paid you
though most folks would hardy blame you
i'm not surprised this is what it came to

you're going back through the way you came before
back through the revolving door

one day, they could be back for more...

-Jon Brion

i suggest you have a listen to this amazing song. to discount any theories, this is not aimed at anyone in particular in any way, shape, or form; it is simply fantastic.

Strangest Times

these things always happen
at the strangest times...

-Jon Brion

simple lyrics, eh? mostly instrumental, obviously, but still delightful. i will not make the same discounting of theories as i did the last intermission.

on to an actual update (of sorts).

i cannot believe i saw a sign that said "found rabbit". ponder that one and comment if you understand the absolute (and i'm assuming, innate) stupidity of man.

how long have we known what we know? why did it take us so long to accept it?

and, finally:

to JD: i'm terribly sorry for the loss of your good friend. i did not know him, but i assume he was a great man from what your post said. let us hope he truly rests in peace with God.

About the Rabbit: Holy moley...we are stupid. I look out my backyard and I see "found" rabbits seeing as I'm looking at them and they have been found...holy crap.

I thought you would have Known him...thats why I asked you to go check the post out. I'll talk to you later my friend. Have a good Thanksgiving. See you when I see you.

Ya I can't place where their from either. I'm fairly sure its Scottland, cos if you go to their site they name Glasgow which is in Scottland...so why they yell in german that they drink shampoo and salmon fish beats me. Fun stuff though.
